SG02A Silicone Grease with PTFE is a USDA H1 food grade lubricant that is translucent white, non-toxic, odorless, and non-irritating. It completely satisfies eco-friendly requirements and can be used with confidence and safety. It is compatible with the majority of plastics and rubbers. SG02A is a non-curing silicone lubricant that is insoluble, non-dispersive, and has a high resistance to pressure. It has significant resistance to extreme heat and cold (-40 to 500°F / -40 to 260°C). This PAO/mineral oil base has a specific gravity of 1.05 @ 77 degrees F. SG02A provides excellent lubrication even in wet environments for long-lasting lubrication. It uses hydrophobic thickeners, heavy consistency, and is water-resistant. It is clean, dielectric, protects against oxidation, and keeps moisture out. It prevents salt, dirt, and corrosion from corroding electrical connections. This silicone grease aids in proper seating of O-rings, speeds up assembly operations, and improves automated assembly. It lubricates, seals, and conditions O-rings and other regulator and valve system components. It also shields O-rings from abrasion, pinching, and cutting, thereby extending the life of equipment. SG02A has a wide range of applications including faucets, garden hoses, vacuum systems, O-rings, breathing apparatus, seals, food mixers, bathroom equipment, and kitchen appliances. It can be used to lubricate brake parts, weather stripping, trunk seals, speedometer cables, window channels, hood strips, pads, and rubber gaskets.
